Medicare Elective Replacement Zone

Anyone here have first-hand experience regarding the what, where, and other things regarding the replacement of their PM or battery and the time frame and conditions and song and dances they had to perform to meet Medicare's guidelines?  My device clinic nurse has stated that when the battery power falls to a certain number, the device will produce a sound similar to a backing garbage truck at 8AM every morning.

Medicare Supplement

Hi, Swangirl..............Yes, I have a plan F supplement with Mutual of Omaha.  Last year, when I visited Minnesota's Mayo Clinic in Rochester, I knew Mayo does not accept Medicare assignment so, I was prepared to pay any out of pocket charges I would incur, BUT..............after racking up approx. $700+ in charges, I received a check from both Medicare and my supplement that reimbursed me for the out of pocket expense even before I received the official bill from Mayo!

That wasn't the garbage man?

So your saying that wasn't the garbage truck I heard backing up this morning?

Gotta keep that sense of humor!

Good luck!

You know you're wired when...

You’re officially battery-operated.
