Hi all. I have a dual chamber Pm, Medtronic now for just over a yr and half. Recently discovered that my ventricle is pacing aswell. So have had alot of settings done recently to accommodate me to feel better daily, which I am struggling with. What does it mean long term for me, as i had signs of Pacemaker syndrome. Also i am struggling daily with constant headaches. I wake up with one and it doesn't go away. It is not getting better either. Couldvit be my heart causing it?
I would appreciate any feedback. Kind regards.

Pacing would not cause headaches. All it does is get your heart to beat faster. Talk to your gp about that, possibly a chiropractor. Lots of things can cause headaches- medication, dehydration, a bad pillow, need a new mattress, sinus issues.
If you are in av block, then the you are going to pace ventricle. The benefits of pacing outweigh the negatives because without it the heart is out of sync and our pulse is too low. We're all different but for me ventricular pacing just means I have a normal, active life. I've been 100% paced for over 20 years now. My heart function hasn't changed.
