Hi guys!
I’m not a new member here by any means but I’m not very good at posting. To give a little back I’m 27, post ablation for WPW, having variant x long QT, and a dual pacemaker, and I also have Dysautonomia. My problem is my sinus node. My rates go over 160 standing. 180-190 during daily activities. I know that sinus node modification is contraindicated with Pots but does anyone have any experiences here with it?

Sinus Node Modification
by Beattie - 2018-03-01 00:42:23
Hi
Whilst i havent had Sinus node modification,
I too have IST, Atrial Tach and Dysautomina, have had an Ablation for AV Nodal re-entrant Tachycardia and been left for the past 10 years with residual Tachycardia. Have had many opinions over the years as to my condition at least 4 EPs i have been sent to discussed this possibility or having the AV node ablated but all of them advised me against these procedures as their sucess rate with had not been all that great and most of their patients ended up not any better off. I currently am trying to manage on Ivabradine, Amiodarone, Diltazem and Pyridgostimine... rather a challenge to control symptoms....
But i am from AUS and you may be able to find an EP in USA with lots of experience with Node modification that could help you.
