Hi All,

Has anyone had to have their wires removed?

I was suppose to be having my pacemaker buried under the muscle, but after much consideration, the doctors have decided that removing my current pacemaker and wires and then putting in a mirca pacemaker (the new leadless ones - that are inserted through the leg & into the heart) is the best option for me, due to complications with my current pacemaker and also my age (im 22).

Just wondering if anyone has been through the removal surgery and how long it took them to recover from it.
