Adhesives

I am allergic to adhesives and dreading that part. Maybe I'll mention the paper tape. I break out from band aids too!

Agree with Greatful Heart.
I'm allergic to adhesives too, and the longer it stays on my skin, the worse the reaction.
If it dosn't feel better, give the doctor's office a call tomorrow.

I feel so blessed to have this little gem implanted in me. When I think of the alternative it is quite overwhelming sometimes.
Surgical tape

If you think it's the tape in one spot, try loosening the tape a little if it is not right at the incision line (a little lower on the skin). Make sure your hands are very, very clean. If it's too close to the incision, call the doctor and ask to be seen sooner.
Some of us are allergic to tapes or the glue. Paper tape works much better for me, no reaction. If I use a band-aid it forms a red outline on my skin.
