Hey All,
I had my pacemaker implanted at 25 for severe bradycardia and Adams-Stokes syndrome. Over the past 2 months I've been getting runs of tachycardia which makes me feel awful. Tingling into my face, I feel it in my throat and my HR gets over 130. I know this isnt crazy high, but it makes me feel pretty shitty.
Has anyone experienced this?

I'm not totally sure what the question is here, I have tachycardia runs all the time, sometimes don't even know and othertimes it's quite uncomfortable.
You might ask the Dr to check for PMT (Pacemaker Mediated Tachycardia)
As for monitoring, your device can track and record anomolies such as this if the parameters are set properly. Usually they don't track fast heart rates under 165BPM as it's considered unimportant and memory on your device is limited.
Just wondering

As an athlete, I expect you have experienced heart rates higher than 130. Do you experience a high heart rate as a problem when you're exercising?
ROBO's point is an excellant one. I had PMT, and yes it happened more when I exercised. And when it happened I felt terrible. Actually, if I didn't stop, I collapsed. Even if I didn't collapse I felt exhausted.
But that's been taken care of and I still have occasional runs of tachycardia. Now I just feel my heart racing and a throbbing in my neck. I breathe deep for a few minutes and it goes away. And then I feel fine.
You know you're wired when...
You have a maintenance schedule just like your car.

Yes, I’ve had this too. I had a pacemaker put in 10 years ago for Bradycardia, and my heart rate often shoots up out of nowhere for a bit. I mentioned it to my cardiologist and they fitted a 48 hour monitor but - Sod’s law - it didn’t happen while I had it on.
Im going to see my cardiologist again on Monday, apparently there’s a feature on Pacemakers which can detect things like this but it’s currently switched off on mine to preserve battery life...
