Today makes 12wks since my pacemaker implant, I am weak, having pvc's, not sleeping well. getting sore around the pacemaker site. had an appointment with the cardiologist but it snowed wasn't able to get there. feeling very decourged today. how long does it take for the pacemaker site to quit getting sore.

Sounds like you have been through a lot to Robin. Thankfully you have survived so you can help others like me . stay well. thanks for the advice! You asked if I use my cpap every night yes mam I can't make it without it I also use oxygen through my cpap. I have copd and asthma.

But I think it will make me feel a lot better. My stamina to walk is already better, even right after surgery. They had me walk all around the floor before they would release me. I did so without being exhausted and winded the way I had been.

Thanks Robin for all the helpful comments, as to moving my arm I have been that. Do you know of any helpful Web sights, that has post pacemaker exercises to do.I will check u tube thank you again for taking time out of your to day to try in help someone. You have already been there so you can help others from your experience. I have sleep apnea I was diagnosed in 2007 I have severe sleep apnea, my doctor says he thinks it has gotten worse. so I am due another in depth sleep study. I've got so many health problems. I've got 9 cardiac stents, I have had 3 strokes 2 of which was mini strokes. the one stroke I had to learn to talk and walk again. I was in rebealtion for months. So I know how to fight for my life. This has been a Bear. but I am seeing slow progress. I'll keep on fighting. thanks again!
