Has anyone had a second sa node modification? I can’t find anything on a second one.

Yes ablation. Did you need your pacemaker after the second one? Or did you already have it?
Ablation

After the 1st ablation my heartrate was all over the place, from 30 to about 120 beats a minute, so EP would not let me home. On 3rd day he said a pacemaker was the only way to go. I continued with chest pain problems unrelated to the pm and ablation, also kept having coronary artery spasm. After a year EP suggested another ablation, even though he said no guarantees that it would work. So I agreed. As I had the paceemaker he could really attack the sa node, which he did, destroying most of it, however that did not matter as the pm would take over. I felt much better straight away, now I hardly ever have problems, just sometimes irregular heartbeats, but apparently that is not an issue. Do you know why you need a second one?

A pacemaker completely solved my problem. In fact, it was implanted just 7 weeks ago and I ran a race today, placed first in my age group.

By a modification, do you mean an ablation? I had a second ablation a year after the first. Fixed most of my problems, so now I am 97% paced. No worries. Does this help?
