Shoulder Pain

Hi Fellow implanted, Happy New Year. Just a quick question. Does anyone have pain in the left shoulder arm joint?

Had my ICD implanted in April last year and..........lifting my arm sends a fairly sharp pain into my arm. Is this normal?

     It's just something I feel that maybe we are going to have to live with!

I have tried some fairly non invasive massage which helps sometimes. I have read on other threads that it is a frozen shoulder caused by inactivity and use of the arm after ICD procedure.......it would be terrific if everything returns to normal.

But I think it will make me feel a lot better. My stamina to walk is already better, even right after surgery. They had me walk all around the floor before they would release me. I did so without being exhausted and winded the way I had been.
