Soreness

I'm wondering how long most of you experienced muscle soreness after pacemaker placement?

My pacemaker was inserted on November 13, 2017 and I am still very sore. Everything seems to bother the area (seat belt, bra strap, and just clothes against the area). Sometimes it is impossible to sleep because I cannot find a comfortable position because of the device.

There is only one thing I'm aware of that might be adding to my discomfort. The surgeon told me after the surgery that I have very large clavicle bones and they had some difficulty placing the device. Not sure if that is adding to my problem???

The doctor says everyone heals differently and I accept this is true but it would be nice to commiserate with others that may have the same problem. If this is normal, than I will gladly hang in there and let my body recover.
