Does it get worse before getting better?

Hi,

I’ve had a CRT-P fitted 4 days ago. I now have pressure feeling on my chest and back of neck and heartbeat is all over the place. I have spoken to cardiology  and will be going to clinic in the morning for first  synchronisation.

so I am not too anxious but  I would love to hear if anybody else has had unexpected post surgery symptoms?

Better or Worse

I had a pacemaker put in her two weeks ago. My heart rate has been way up. So much that I ended up going to the ER. Followed up with cardiologist and was told that the heart does not like to be touched and it can be irritated afterwards  and that they’ve had other patients that it’s taken a few months to settle down. Don’t know if that really helps but I’m wishing you all the best!

Hi,

thanks for replies they have helped.  I’ve now come out in a rash near the wound sight and down my left arm so have taken some antihistamine which has helped with the pressure feeling. Looking forward to the clinic
