Hi all,
I’m sure some of you have seem my posts before. I️ was born with a complete heart block and have had a pacemaker my whole life... last year when I️ was 20, I️ started having pain around the pacemaker site. Doctors didn’t really know why but after I️ came back from studying abroad we decided to do surgery. They took the battery out, removed the pocket, cut my pec, made a new pocket, and finally put a new battery in there. I’m coming up on 6months post-op and still in significantly more pain than expected....
I️ have most of my range of motion and strength back, but riding in a car can be uncomfortable because of the bouncing (but better), and laying down. Those are my 2 biggest concerns since I️ had those issues with pain before surgery and my surgeon said he didn’t know if the surgery would fix I️t...
any thoughts or previous experiences similar?? Please try to make I️t not scary though!

Just because you have a device doesn't mean you are damaged goods and can't do anything worthwhile and have to lie down and die. In fact, you're better and stronger. You're bionic!
