numbness and pain

i am about 6 1/2 weeks from getting my first PM. It is on the left side.  I was wondering if anyone has experienced discomfort like pain in the under arm area towards the front and soreness.

I went through it too. My shoulder' tendon may need surgery. I think from the nurse in the OR rasing my arm to allow better physician access. After that I had internal deep chest pains. I talked to my Dr and he said it takes about 6 months for everything to calm down and accpet the new appliance with its wires and electrodes. He was right. I felt better over time and forget I have  a pacemaker.
