Hi to all... I haven't been in here to post for awhile But I come in and read lots So 2009 I got my Pacemaker "installed" that would be 8 years ago ...I was 100% pacing at the time ..... and had a very low pulse becuz of my electrical problem...I transmit every 3 months and have a yearly check in Oct.... anyways, I am now pacing just 4% of the time.....and doing good the battery and the leads are good...and I don't have many other problems....but I do have a question that I forgot to ask my electrical guy...when he was testing me he said he was going to speed up my heart...which he did a couple of times....I forgot to ask him why he did that? so I wondered if anyone else could tell me why. Also I was wondering if Smitty, Pookie, cabpatch (I think) are still around? I know that Frank has passed ... but I wondered about the others.? Frank and Smitty were a great help to me when I first got my PM.... and have missed Frank whenever I did come in....oh and Tracey too.... Thanks again for reading and replying....

My eight year old son had a pacemaker since he was 6 months old. He does very well, plays soccer, baseball, and rides his bike. I am so glad he is not ashamed of his pacemaker. He will proudly show his "battery" to anyone.
oh and forgot
