I am 46yo and had my pacemaker put in 3 weeks ago. Its a dual chamber. No history and a 2nd degree heart block with symptoms only presenting a.week prior. Currently i am getting a feeling in my chest like a little thump or vibration that only last a second and it is putting my anxiety through the roof. Not sure if this is normal or not. Just started so I haven't called the doctor yet. Has anyone else ever experienced this

have you had any checks done? I had similar almost straight out of hospital after implant (crt-d). But it was accompanied by severe pain. Really felt like something tapping on the inside of my ribs. It still looked OK on an X-ray but my Cardio surgeon could hear a slight get murmur and ultrasound showed some fluid around my heart. Also they picked up some pacing that wasn’t being captured but that was at the major hospital 24 hours later. It was a misplaced lead and I needed more surgery. Bit over a month out and I’m starting to feel much better. And no tapping.

My pacemaker was installed in 1998 and I have not felt better. The mental part is the toughest.
