Please help me with my studies. I'm asking everyone to post a comment to my posting on, "Premature Ventricular Contraction." I posted it about three days ago! Thank you so much and to those who already posted a comment. I thank you so much for your input.
Thank you,

not sure
by sputnick - 2009-02-19 10:02:17
I have only had my p.m. in for 3 weeks so not overly sure what a PVC feels like!
I do have what I call palpitations, my heart seems to beat fast for a few beats and then calm down again and this can happen lots of times a day or just a few. It's not the same feeling as b4 the p.m. when the palps where literally stomach lurching and made me feel lightheaded n dizzy but they feel really strong at times.
This was due to my heart stopping for up to 10 seconds at a time in quick succession sometimes. I have heard sick sinus syndrome, wenckebach and heart block mentiond but I think I will know more when I go for my 1st pacer check in 3 weeks

I missed it

Sorry, I was busy for a few days and missed your post. What do you want to know about PVC's? I may qualify as an expert as I have had times when I was having an average of 2500/day.
If I don't respond here send me a private message.

Hello James,
I didn't realize you needed the information for your studies. There are so many other people here who know so much more about this, so I didn't reply before.
I have mean, hard PVC's that make me stop to catch my breath sometimes. Last night laying in bed, there it was a hard "thump"! After a few minutes... again a hard thump! These PVC's make themselves more noticeable when I am really tired, sick or stressed. Last night I was really very tired. It usually affects my breathing because it startles me but it no longer scares me. It sometimes hurts.
For me when it is really bad, it feels like something is on the inside giving me a quick punch from inside my heart. I don't get the hard ones as much anymore, thank heavens!
I hope this helps you in someway,
Pacergirl
