Hi, My new Pacemaker Battery was at 11 years longevity during my first check after the surgery. 3 months later it had dropped 3 years. At that rate in 8 or 9 months I will need another. How has your Pacemaker Battery life been?

As Gotrhytym said, the estimate is based not on usage but on the settings at the time they did the interrogation. Odds are they adjusted the settings once you'd had it for a few weeks.
You know you're wired when...
You prefer rechargeable batteries.

Battery life is an estimate, based on use since the last interrogaton. It can change at each interrogation and can go up as well as down.
As of my last interrogation, I've gained two more years of battery life in the last year. With almost six years of use, I'm up to up to an estimated 7.8 years left.
But two years ago it was less than 5.
The important thing to remember is that it's an estimate. It isn't foretelling the future.
