Bleeding

Hey ive been a week out of the hospital after my PM implant and today i noticed my cut was sorta leaking blood, not a lot maybe just like a drop. Is this normal? Or does this mean its infected or something

It may be that you have just had a bit of scab come away and the underlying wound is raw.

Just keep an eye on it. There should be DECREASING tenderness, and no spreading redness.

There are signs of infection.   Any discharge from a wound of a pus nature would be alarming.

A drop is not a big deal, as Selwyn said it could be a scab coming off. Any more than that, or if accompanied by new swelling or pain, streaks, new redness, or fever, then you need to be seen and the fluid needs to be cultured. Don't let them hand you antibiotics and follow up in a week (or whatever), always insist on cultures immediately. On the off chance it is infected, you could spend a week on the wrong meds while it spreads. Even the smallest sign of infection should be treated aggressively because the leads go straight to our hearts.
