Hello,
I had my pacemaker implant about 2 months ago. The area around the device it is still sore and from time to time I need to take Tylenol. Is this normal? How long do I need to wait until this soreness goes away?
Thank you.

Just Depends

Robin1's statement is so true.
The area around my PM aches like other muscles based on my activity but this area is more sensitive. Early on in this adventure I checked with the doctor's office. Basically told me this may be permanent. Having an implant is different-just like folks with new knees and hips. We feel much better and are able to function well but it is not exactly like before the implant.
Visually check the PM area for redness. This may be an infection. Otherwise leave it alone. We all heal differently.
I hope the soreness gets better for you.

Be careful of seat belt

i think I remember about 3 months or so. The seat belt was irritating where they implanted the pm so I bought a pad to put under it while a was driving. Just keep yr hands away from the site and no pets on yr chest.
