First: All done, all good so far, after Recovery and being settled in room. Taking it easy but dressed myself and walked around a bit (very cautiously); been busy on the cellphone. Was very hungry (seems nothing interferes with my appetite, darn), was blessed with a warm muffin in Recovery, and a lite, sensible meal at 5:05 pm. Good thing I brought healthy snacks.
Pre-Op was practically a blur, talking and doing things with so many ppl at once; had a difference of opinion on wearing underwear (I put them back on since it had become entertaining for the husband), which was fine. Glad we discussed sedation - I too have fibromyalgia and opted for full out. So glad I did!! Felt amazed after waking that I actually had the procedure done, but reality sets in quickly...
Be sure to discuss your ongoing meds for your time in the hospital. Yes, you will be sore, but it is also quite manageable... For me. And I joke with staff a lot. Interesting that my pm was set at 60 but has only averaged 39-59, but will review all in the morning...
In tremendous respect for the many who have endured challenging, difficult, even worse than terrible experiences, I in no way wish to diminish or make light of those tough conditions. In this log, I only wish to convey how things are going for me as I deal with my situation, to hopefully bring some encouragement to those who are still facing their procedure.
So much thanks to all who have sent best wishes, and who posted info and experiences that have been so beneficial... (careful) *HUGS*

You know you're wired when...

Glad your procedure went well.
Since I received my PM and live on battery power (100% PM dependent) my son-in-laws called me a cyborg. I guess the female version is cyborgette. LOL
Next for you is the healing process. It will not take too long.
