So far so good

Had my pacemaker put in on Wednesday and all is going good.  Alot more sore than I was expecting but I know that will pass soon.  Just relieved the surgery is over.  They checked before I left and said it is working 76 percent of the time so I know I made the right decision in having it done.  Can't wait to start having more energy and not feeling tired all the time and loopy.

Glad it all went well. And yes, you definitely needed it!

Ice will help with the soreness the first few days.

I don't usually write a comment.  I read the comments and there are people that are so much more informed than myself.  I am thankful that people like Tracey E and Angry Sparrow post comments.

That said, if I were you today, I would go to youtube and type in Waylon Jennings "If I Had A Clean Shirt".  As they say when I'm brought food at a restarant that won't taste that good and cost too much "enjoy".  The best food is cheap and tastes good.

i had a loop recorder removed and a pacemaker inserted 10 days ago.  I an still very sore and very, very tired.  My doc put me on a beta blocker yesterday for arrythmias.  My old friend, depression, has raised it's ugly head.  Praying for better days soon.  Wish you well!

Thank you
