I have been meaning to post to say that after 11 settings changes in less than 2 years, that I am finally happy to report that I no longer feel the block during exercise. I wanted to thank Inga, TraceyE, DonR, Good Dog, BlueBowTye and all of you who were such a help to me in adjusting and learning. The change they made last Fall only extended the search interval from 512 ms to 1024 ms , so I felt the blocks every 8 min during a spin class rather than every 3-4 ( with my HR averaging about 130) . In April, they turned on the AV search feature on my Boston Scientific Advanito and I have felt great since then. I got my latest interrogation and was shocked that my pacing is now 100% ventricular (zero atrial) which is up from 6% last Feb and 9% in May. My question is , could I have advanced to complete heart block from exercised induced 2nd degree block or is my AV delay not long enough? They have the paced AV delay set for 70-180 ms and the sensed AV delay at 80-150 ms. I have read that excessive pacing can cause multiple problems down the road and wondered if anyone has suggestions that I should consider. Thanks!

I have exercise induced HB Too and trying to feel halfway normql during exercise. But your AV settings are tight and don’t allow your own heart to do much. My pacing was high and now it’s down. They never used AV search for me
