Pacemaker today!

Hello everyone! Got my dual lead Medtronic pacemaker today! Checked in at 8am. Went back at 1000. I was scared to death. Shaking when they walked me in to the OR. The nurse in the OR asked if I was cold. I said no just nervous. She pointed to the anesthesiologist and said well heś the bartender. He can give you something. He put Oxygen mask on my face and something in my IV. The next thing I remember is being rolled to recovery. I had a big pressure dressing on my chest. Apparently something oozed some.Made it to recovery about 1:00pm. On my way home at 6:40pm. Had a little high blood pressure. So happy and thankful to God that it is over!

Thank yall. I had dreaded this so long. Feels like a weight off my shoulders! Feeling good this morning. Thankful! My sweet husband does not want me to do anything. I am feelig pretty normal. Just a little sore.
