urination and zlight dizziness

I had my pacemaker installed 15 days ago.

According to the doctor I need to sleep on my back until I discharged 9/27/16.

I wake up during the night and morning with a stiff back. I expect this feeling since I am sleeping on my back. However i am going to the bathroom 2 or 3 times a night. I don't have this problem during the day. Is this normal.

I m wlking 2 to 2 1/2 miles a day. I get a little dizzy. It this normal because the body and pacemaker are adjusting.

Another possibility

Many PM recipients also have sleep apnea.  Untreated sleep apnea can result in very frequent trips to the bathroom.  I have experienced this and had untreated sleep apnea. I had a sleep study and now use a CPAP machine and the problem has virtually gone away.  All of my doctors, including my cardiologist and EP routinely ask me how compliant I am in using my CPAP machine. Perhaps you need a sleep study.  Also I am wondering if any of your medications could have a diuretic effect.

Are you taking any meds?  sometimes beta blockers can lower your blood pressure which can make you feel a bit dizzy.  As for night time potty trips, welcome to the club!!!

I slept on my side right from the start, on my left side too.  I just adjusted my position until  I was reasonably comfortable.  Yes it all felt strange until I got used to the pm, but was never told to sleep on my back.

I love this new part of me, and very, very thankful that this technology exists and I know that it's all only going to get better over time.
