Walking

What you are experiencing is very normal in my opinion. I think it is likely caused more by the anesthetic, but as well as the minor trauma to your body. You should just take it slow for at least the first week. Gradually working your way up by increasing your walking distance is a good way to recover.

Well, lets look at it from another view....

You recently were under anestheisa, had a pocket carved into your chest with a metal box inserted, had another hole cut into an artery where some wires were inserted and pushed down into your heart, then those wires were "anchored" into a wall(s) of your heart.  Then everything was stiched (and/or glued) back together!

Yea, you might deserve a little down time and may be a little wabblely for a while!!

Give yourself some time and take it slowly.  When you get tired, stop, take a break, enjoy life!

painkillers

In addition to the other responses, if you are also taking painkillers right now that will impact you....and, your digestive system may still be out-of-synch due to the anesthesia.

Be sure to keep your fluid levels up (drink water) and relax...it gets better real fast.
