post surgery

Hi all!! 

I just had the icd/pm put in yesterday early morning. I can't believe how fast I got out of hospital. Well right now I am. little sore but feel very positive about this. Doctor said about 4 weeks before I can consider moving arm above shoulder. I am 52 years old and have had chf for 5 years now. I just wanted to introduce myself and let you know how I am.

Hi Rich,

Welcome to the club! I am glad to hear you are positive! I have had my pacemaker one year now and I know it can be a little overwhelming at first! I couldn't believe how fast I got out of hospital either!! I found I was sore for a little while after it was implanted, but every day gets easier :) Good luck!!
