will a plasma cutter affect my pacer? Also I have seen conflicting reports on welding equipment. In addition are all the things that affect pacemakers in a general sense damaged or is the concern that the pacemaker won't work around the equipment but will go back to normal when you are away from the interference..

I found that it took a while for my body to adjust to the pm. I had some dizziness at first-- I even felt the pm going on and off-- very annoying. Now I don't anything except I feel good.

I just received my PM September 12, 2016. It is a medtronic ADDR01, dual chamber set for adaptive mode. My cardiologist has told me no more arc welding or plama cutting - NOT DEBATEABLE !!!. However, he said I can still use my other tools, such as chop saw, grinders, metal lathe, and milling machine, and all my wood working tools, saws, sanders, lathe, etc. I am now switching to gas welding. Looks like I will be doing more woodworking than metal work.
You know you're wired when...
You play MP3 files on your pacer.

To tell you the truth I never even give it a second thought. While growing up it never stopped me from doing anything and to this day my girlfriend or my kids need to remind me that I have one!
thanks
