prayer chain

Hi everyone and God bless you all! I wanted to see if any one is interested in making a prayer chain with me. I dont know exactly how it would work yet. But it would be something like we can take turns posting a special prayer for anything or for all of us in general. I also welcome people to write to me if u are requesting a special prayer.Or if you know someone who is sick and would like a special prayer for that person. Let me know who would like to join me in this quest...jeje. God bless you all.

Bit uncomfortable

I agree. I am an atheist and have no problem with people having some kind of "higher force" in their lives at all but I don't think this club is the place for it. It seems to be getting to be a regular ooccurance. I think if I started putting my feelings about religion up the christians on here would be up in arms! let's just leave it as a forum for the dicussion and support for pm/Icd info etc Jan

Prayer chains...

Sorry ya'll.. had no idea I'd offend anyone with my post. I just knew there would be several/many members that would want to know that our friend was ill and needed us. If prayer is not what one would do in a urgent moment then whatever one does is appreciated. My favorite line is that..."I'm cheering for you!" Pretty generic, eh??

So let's CHEER for everyone!

I would run it by Blake before posting something regularly. It's a lovely thought, but may be crossing a line, getting too close to discussing religion.

Here's how we do it at my church. We keep a running list. New additions go on the top, ongoing concerns are in the middle with updates in blue to make them stand out, long term cancer list is at the bottom. New items stay on for one week unless requested otherwise. We update it every Monday and email everyone on the list.

im sorry...

I just wanted to say i am sorry. I just thought maybe there might be people going thru difficult times and prayer would cheer them up. I didnt have any one who understood me before i found this site and at times i felt so alone...i wish some one would have prayed for me. Anyway, i did not mean to make any one uncomfortable so i will not be doing this here...thank you for your comments.
