I recently had my two lead pacemaker repalced with a three lead pacemaker due to a reduced EF reading. I am now experiencing diaphragm fluttering when I exert myself by walking to far or to fast. I wonder if anyone else has any experienced this situation and what they know about it.

When are you off to the pacing clinic? You should have an appointment with 6 weeks of implant. At this first meeting you need to tell the doctor and technician of the pulsation sensation and they wll alter the settings so that it goes way. Best of luck.

I have a well tuned pacer. I hardly know I have it. I am 76 year old, hike and camp alone in the desert. I have more energy than I have had in a long time. The only problem is my wife wants to have a knob installed so she can turn the pacer down.

I just got my pacemaker a month ago. Mine felt more like a baby kicking when I tried to sleep on my side. They just needed to adjust the settings on the pacemaker and it stoppped stimulating the nerve. They had to do it two times because the first time the pacemaker "noticed" the third wire was set differently and reset itself, so they started in again. The second time, the tech set it so it wouldn't change it again.
