I just joined so I'm new to this whole thing so any information or advice you can give will be appreciated
But I wanted to just say hi and ask a few questions
Also I'm 7 days post op and my pm is a medtronic advisa sure scan with two leads
My follow up appointment is on Monday and I'm nervous
What can I expect???
how do you know if it is working? I feel a flutter sometimes could that be it??
Also my bandage it itching like crazy and I can't wait for it to be removed

Yes I have a slight latex allergy that I told them about but it's not too red just itches... so I have learned to live with it

But I think it will make me feel a lot better. My stamina to walk is already better, even right after surgery. They had me walk all around the floor before they would release me. I did so without being exhausted and winded the way I had been.

Nothing to be nervous about! They'll look at the incision, make sure it's on track. They'll do a pacer check, same as they did before you left the hospital. That's about it!
If your heart rate is higher than it was before, if it goes up on exertion, then you know it's working.
If it's itching excessively, if the redness is getting worse instead of better, call and ask them to take a quick peek. They may have used something on the bandaging that you're allergic to.
