Hi. I got a pacemaker in January and I am not back to normal.
I have had a infection that finally went away after 6 weeks.
My question to anyone out there do you get electrical impulses and do you have pain in your arm the side the pacemaker was put in. Its not a frozen shoulder. My incision still hurts and burns after 3 months and the DRs. don't know why. I hope someone can give me advice .I can still feel my pacemaker like
its heavy in my chest. It feels like sometimes it moves under my arm pit but the Dr says no its in place. I am get tired easily and my pacemaker throbs. I am doing what they say and was told to go see a rheumatologist to see if they can help me.
HELP... Anyone else having problems after 3 months.
They say you recover before now wish I was.

Sounds like you need to get a new cardiologist. I had mine implanted in Sept 2015 and never had any problems as you discribe.

I have an ICD which is both a pacer/defib. I have no problems with mine and it has saved my life.

I have read about people with PM's where it/the leads are rubbing against a nerve and that can cause the feelings/irritation. A lot of it (at least for me it was) was getting used to having a foreign object that you can feel in your body. When I think about it, it bothers me more than otherwise.
I know what you mean about feeling like it's moving...if your Dr says it's OK you should be fine. Your skin & muscle tissue will move around it and can push on it which is the feeling that I get and keeps me from resting comfortably on my left side...but it does stay in place,
Can't speak to your getting tired easily as everyone is different. Have you talked to your Dr about the settings on your PM? They can - and regularly - make adjustments to how it responds to respiration and/or movement. When they increased the response rate on mine I felt a lot better.
During my first few months I tended to touch the PM around the incision (because it was strange) and that made mine feel irritated/throbbing feeling.
