I have had this pacemaker since 2008 and started having ectopic heart beats last September when on holiday in Greece after I had been put on Dabigatron instead of Warfarin. I had a major operation on my guts in 1993 and have suffered from diarrhoea ever sine but Dabigatron made it much worse. The doctor as now put me onto Rivaroxaban which has cured that problem but I still ectopic heartbeat. I never had this uncomfortable beat when on Warfarin.
I wonder if anyone else has this experience which always occurs after eatin, even after a sandwich and fruit for lunch?

I have recently been to see a new cardiologist and he did not like one of the medications I had been on for years. I did about a month ago have an episode where my ICD paced me with 3 thumps. He increased my Sotalo and put me on prozac for anxiety. But I still feel like I am having flutters and it is causing me to worry nonstop. I take clopidogrel for blood thinner.

I have had that problem in the past and occasionally still do, but it was not associated with medication. Rather, it was mostly stress induced. Other times, I am just not sure.
