Headed to have my shiny new CRT implanted in a few hours. I want to thank everyone here. This is a great spot for information and support. I'm looking forward to getting this done and joining the cool kids club.

Hi Jeff,
I had my CRT-D implanted in Feb 2015. Greatest thing that has happened to me in a long time. You are going to feel so much better. Take good care and keep us in the loop.

Home with my feet up, watching a ball game, and my wife fussing over me. I should have done this years ago! Procedure went great The entire staff at the Meijer Heart Center were fanstastic. I find medical technology fascinating. My doc was really happy with how the procdure went. It was a good feeling to hear "You have great veins!" as he fished the leads in. My chest is sore but otherwise I feel great. It was an emotional day. The waiting was the hardest part. Now I can get moving forward.

I wouldn't be alive if it wasn't for pacemakers. I've had mine for 35+ years. I was fainting all of the time and had flat-lined also. I feel very blessed to live in this time of technology.
