Cardiac ablation

Hi..im Lisa from Indonesia..sorry in advance for my poor english language

Just need opinions since i will hv ablation next week..extremely nervous of course and tbh i feel unsure if my decision to do the ablation is the best

Im not confident with the ablation bcos my doc not kind of someone who is friendly and not do lot of discussion with his patient (he is the famous electrhysiologist in my country )i assume he is so busy bcos lot of patients so he has to limiting the length of consultation

First consultation was in March..he saw my medical records ( holter..echo..ecg ) and then he checked my heart..very quick..he diagnose me NSVT then he prescribed me Concor 5mg for a month and suggest me return to do treadmill test..

So i return after on Concor 5mg for a month..and did the treadmill test..the result from treadmill test i have VES TRIPLETS..and based on the treadmill test he suggest me for ablation..he said confidently that my problem came from right side and he said i only need conventional ablation instead of 3D ablation..

What im worrying is it enough to decide the ablation only from treadmill test..i think i need more test like mri or etc bcos my previous doc suggest me to do mri and even he said i need 3D ablation but this current doc said conventio al ablation is enough..this make me confuse and so nervous

Any opinion pls share with me..really appreciate for your comments..

Ablation

First of all I'm not sure an MRI can detect a rythm disorder. They need to go into the artery and into your heart to find the problem areas. I think you are saying you have V-Tec. If so the ablation can cure that. Looks like you don't have a choice of doctors and you said yours is famous. I think I would trust him. It's no fun when your heart is beating out of your chest. As far as the ablation, you will do fine and go home the next day.

Good luck to you and let us know what you decide and how you are doing.

I wouldn't be alive if it wasn't for pacemakers. I've had mine for 35+ years. I was fainting all of the time and had flat-lined also. I feel very blessed to live in this time of technology.
