Age
I am 84 and I got my PM 2 years ago because my heart rate was to slow and always tired,,It has helped me a lot but I still can't do as much as I use to..probably my age has a lot to do with it.. But I don't even know i have one until I take a shower and then I realize it is there...It has been great for me....so age should have no bearing... weather you have a PM..

I'm "only" 63 and PM is 2 months old, and over time if I can't do as much as I used to, oh well (LOL). The alternative if I didn't have the PM just wasn't an option, as it isn't for most of us. Good luck, continue to keep on ticking and "Always blessings, never losses".

This place is so diverse. I love it. Older people with young spirits. Young people, like me, with older spirits. hee, hee. Babies! Youngin's, teenagers, little whipper snappers. You name it, PC club has got it.
This place is filled with people that don't know what it's like living without pacemakers. People remembering the less "bionic" days of yesterday, and people just walking into the realm of pacemaker technology.
You gotta love this place,
Go grandpa! I hope I have your spirit if I'm blessed to make it to your age.....God help me. LOL !

Hi Lloyd - Thanks for your positive, very reassuring post about your age and PM. Proves to all that age is only a "number"! Though I am "only 68" I hope to make it to 84; probably with a few battery changes between now and then. LOL Like you I seldom think of my PM; after 2 and one-half years the scar is not noticeable.I ask God to continue pouring out blessings on you and keep you pacing!

They sure help us old duffers(I'm 78). I'm probably going to need a replacement in the next year or so.
As my father used to say "I can't do as much as I used to do..In fact I never could"
