Hoi all,
So glad I found this club. Had an ICD/Pacemaker installed on Friday (1/29/2016). I'm on the usual aspirin and b-blocker (5mg/day). I sometimes feel light-headed and a bit disoriented, feels a bit like the runup to what got me in this situation in the first place. Could that be due to the b-blocker? No idea what to expect during recovery and every little symptom reminds me of the event that started this journey in the first place.

Beta Blockers & Pacemaker

Light-headedness (esp. when standing up quickly) and feeling "off" are typical side-effects of beta blockers. I don't think pacemakers/ICDs have any real side effects of their own, most likely it is the meds you are feeling.
Since beta blockers depress heart rate, your PM may need some adjustment to compensate, especially during exercise.

To tell you the truth I never even give it a second thought. While growing up it never stopped me from doing anything and to this day my girlfriend or my kids need to remind me that I have one!
BetaBlockers

Beta blockers can give you such symptoms.
But also the Pacemaker feature might not be adjusted to meet your needs.
Some of these things take several adjustments of the device and/or meds to get the best results.
