Chest pain

Got my pacemaker in Monday, 1/25. Yesterday no problems. Then today had pain in the center of my chest -hurts to take a breath. Went to ER bcuz was also very lightheaded. Drs decided everything was fine with pacemaker. Still in pain tonite. About 6inches from bottom of sternum. Anyone else have thus happen?

Not sure its the same thing that happened to me...they had set the "power" too high for me and I called the surgeon and they had me come in to have an adjustment....

I had mine fitted last Thursday and I had watched others walk out hospital looking all fit while I had pain and didn't feel great - it does go off it is just your body reacting to an alien inside it ! - I found a mix of paracetamol four hourly and then a co- codemol (or I use cuprofen which is a strong ibuprofen) will just take the ache away while it beds in -it took 5 days before I didn't need pain relief any more and I feel normal again - I think yours is only just over 3 days inside u so just a couple more days and u won't know it's there

Pain subsided today. Don't know why, like I don't know why it came. Guess I am just living with a new normal. Thanks for your encouragement.
