Codeine

Codeine can give you nausea and make you feel bad.
You may want to switch over to Tylenol if you need pain relief.
Drink plenty of water.
Workedout

Yes, I am sorry. Obviously, I misunderstood!
Codeine can make you nauseated.
Sincerely,
David
codeine

Sounds like a reaction to codeine, probably just need to get it out of your system.
too soon

I would normally encourage folks to get back on their feet quickly after surgery. However, what you did is crazy! You should not be working-out so soon after the implant. The pain reliever may be causing the nausea.
Didn't your doctor or the hospital advise you to take it slow for a little while?
Sincerely,
David
call medical care

Hi, Katidid
Codeine is a difficult drug to tolerate and function safely. Get with your medical care. It can definitely be codeine causing trouble alone or in combination with other medication(s), including over the counter, traces of procedure medication or a completely separate health issue. Ingest only easy to digest food/drink for a few days as you heal. Take care. Hope you are feeling much better soon.

I'm still running and feeling great.
Probably reaction to meds

Hi, I sometimes find myself getting sick if I take certain meds, so its quite likely to be that. I only took pain relief for the first day after my implant in november.
I think Gooddog may be a little confused by your wording as it would seem you're not working out yet, but you 'worked' out what was causing the sickness.
Hopefully in a day or so it will ease once the meds are out of your system, but if not I'd definitely seek medical advice.
