I have a Boston Scientific CRT-P. I am attending a swm meet for my daughter this weekend. The facility has a huge electronic scoreboard that runs the entire meet as well as all the timers and electronic touch pads. Does anyone know if this will affect my pacemaker or what symptoms I should watch out for. Thank you ìn adVance for your hep.

No problems with the electronic stuff as far as pacemaker is concerned.

The rule of thumb for anything questionable is 6" from the device. Electronics are not generally a problem. Magnets are what we need to watch out for,but they have to be pretty big and we have to be really close for it to be a problem.
You know you're wired when...
You play MP3 files on your pacer.

A pacemaker suddenly quitting is no more likely to happen than you are to be struck by lightening.
