Hi. I am a 75 year old woman. My crt-d was implanted November 17. I am wondering how much time it takes to start to feel normal. I was feeling pretty good the first week or so after my surgery. Then I started feeling not so good again. It is mostly getting tired and not being able to do all I want to do. Am I expecting too much too fast? How long did it take some of you to feel good?

It made a HUGE difference in my life. Once I got it, I was finally able to run, and ride my bike long distances.

Just a simple 2 wire for me (St Jude)
It may have taken me more than a month to recover ..and I pushed things ..Now I am back to normal (for me) after five 5 months .. This will, of course, vary for all of us .. and "all of us" may require some PM adjustments (fine tuning) ..
I think I feel "good" and have been after the 6 weeks to heal.
Best of fortune and healing
