Well on Friday I finally joined the club with a Boston Scientific 2-lead pacemaker.
Went easier than I expected and other than not being able to sleep well in the hospital feel better than I have in a long time.
Pain's not too bad - took the Vicodin the first 24 hrs and am now easing off to just at bedtime starting tonight with just Tylenol during the day.

Welcome to the club!! This forum is a great resource. If you ever have any questions or concerns, there are lots of folks here with lots of experience to share.
I too have a 2-lead PM, but mine is a Medtronic. I just received my 4th. The first three had an average battery life of 10 years. The newer PM's have a slightly shorter life, because of all the bells and whistles they put in them.
I didn't know it at the time I received my first PM, but it is actually a """Piece of Cake"". It has given me 30 years so far of a great life without any restrictions. Many of the folks here will tell you that after a couple of years, you'll begin to forget you even have one.
Wishing you the very best!!
