Since my pacemaker surgery last April, I have fainted twice with the device and been having complications such as severe sharp stabbing pain at the site, and dizziness. My family and i have been struggling to find out what is the issue. Here i am thinking i can move on with my life a 23 year old senior in college trying to graduate and improve my quality of life. My electro cardiologist had no answers for me, so we decided to spend a week at Mayo Clinic in Minnesota. For anyone experiencing pain or struggle i highly recommend Mayo Clinic. Not saying i didn't find an answer, however we found a way to move forward. This message is for anyone who has lost hope and doesn't know how to move forward. For me I didn't know if i could live a life i wanted. I lost complete hope. And Mayo Clinic helped me regain my strength again.

The experience of having a couple of lengths of wire fed into your heart muscle and an electronic 'box' tucked under the skin is not an insignificant event, but you will survive.
