Hi I am a little jittery so I am back with my query with a pic.I got my pacer in July but had to undergo another procedure due to dislodgement of leads on 12the August. Even after the second procedure my ventrical wire has moved again
but i have decided not to go in for any further procedures as I don't require that wire. Actually it's now believesd that I did not require the pacer in the first place . I am a little worried about the colour of my wound which has changed over the past one month. The picture is attached here.

It also itches more than before and pains a bit in the area. I also get needle pins kind of pain below my chest area and also a little around the heart. I have no fever or discharge from the site.
keep going back to my doc about the pain but he dismisses it saying that these are muscle pains and will go away with time. I am not too sure. Could the looses ventricle wire ( which has been turned off) causing these pains ? Could it be an infection developing ? Or could these be regular healing pains and will go away with time ? Please help. Thanks.

The wound color can change. As the lower parts of the wound heal, the upper part can change color.
Pins and needles are normal healing signs. So is itching. It just means the nerves are healing.
You've just had a foreign object inserted into your body. The skin was stretched to put it in. In addition to bruises, your skin has to adjust to being stretched. Kinda like putting a pillow in the middle of a bed, then putting the sheet tightly over top of it. There's going to be some stretching, and with skin, some adjustment and pain.
If it was an infection, you'd have other signs such as a fever, low temperature, swelling, or something else.
Everything you've described sounds like normal healing.
Hope everything continues to get better.
