Stretching overhead

I am going to PT for groin and hip (not surgery, just injury). The PT told me misalignment, so stretching. One stretch is lying down, take big exercise ball in hands and stretch overhead and back. I notice that it is uncomfortable and its tight in the pacemaker. Does anyone have this problem with tightness ? I notice with my 2nd pacemaker more tightness because its smaller.

hello, yes I have the same tightness and thought maybe it was still part of the healing process (Nove 2013). I notice it when I do sit ups from a lying down postion with hands above the head to a raise the body up. I also find it very difficult to reach into a cabneit and grab a glass or something.
This is my first PM and my guy told me he put a little larger unit in based on the fact that it has a battery with a longer life span ( I am only 49). So I think it can't be the size since we have different sizes.
At least we are not alone on in this discomfort and frustration!!

I think that the movement was better because my pacemaker would naturally drop a little into the arm pit. Actually the area is stretched a little. I am more aware of the tightness in the area. I am going to go very slow. My pacer is 3 years old. Good luck with your workouts.

I wouldn't be alive if it wasn't for pacemakers. I've had mine for 35+ years. I was fainting all of the time and had flat-lined also. I feel very blessed to live in this time of technology.
