It's almost over. One more day and then you will begin the recover process.
It's only natural to be scared about surgery. The bright side is you know all the precautions and what to expect.
You'll be ok Lisa....it's almost over.

Microwave ovens make you spark.

The experience of having a couple of lengths of wire fed into your heart muscle and an electronic 'box' tucked under the skin is not an insignificant event, but you will survive.
Nothing wrong with being scared!

There's no getting around it - this stuff can be scary. However it is also something that your doctors and nurses do on a daily basis - they are GOOD at it! They are also good at making sure that you get the follow up care that you need.
Hopefully you have family/friends with you. Make sure you express your feelings and concerns clearly to them and to the medical staff - they WILL help you through and remember all of this is everyone doing their best to give you the combination of treatment that you need.
