Well guys it's been a week since my new friend was implanted. I feel almost back to normal. I'm finally able to sleep on my sides as long as I hug a pillow lol. Some days I have a little pain but I'm not really taking anything as its not too bad! I had my follow up appt. everything is going great! It's soooooo weird when they test your leads in the office and when they make your heart rate go up. So different haha! Just waiting for that day when I can finally lift that arm over my head! Haha hope all is well with everyone!

You know you're wired when...
Your heart beats like a teenager in love.

The experience of having a couple of lengths of wire fed into your heart muscle and an electronic 'box' tucked under the skin is not an insignificant event, but you will survive.

Hope everything continues to go well with you.
If they run up the heart rate too fast while testing your PM, you can ask the tech to not step through the sequence as quickly. My tech has been willing to work with me on that issue. Although not all techs may be as willing to be bothered.
There's an atrium test and the ventricle test on mine. The ventricle test is the on that bothers me the most. They have to do the testing so you can't just ask them not to do it. Hopefully the tech will be willing to go along with your requests and you won't be bothered as much.
Like I said, hope everything else goes well for you.
