Initial Problems

Had my on demand pacemaker fitted 25.7.15 and since then have had a range of problems necessitating an A&E visit but they now say everything is ok with the pacemaker, my ECG and my bloods and my chest Xray.

However now when I walk I am getting this pain in my chest every few minutes-the family doctor has told me that I need to use the Nitro Spray to see if it helps but I am reluctant to start down that road because once started there is no road back. I have never used the spray before nor had any problems with chest pain or shortness of breath. I did however have a small heart attack in 2008 and two stents were fitted but no problems until a few weeks ago.

Has anyone had a similar situation and can you offer any advice. I play a lot of sport and this seems like the end of the road. The pacemaker was fitted after I had 3 fainting fits in one week.

Your information is much appreciated and very helpful and speaks with the voice of experience.

You have taught me a valuable lesson about dates better to spell out the date when you are using an international club. I live in the UK and its day/month/year as opposed to USA which uses month/day/year.
