I'm scheduled to have my second replacement surgery in 3 weeks. I'm also having my lower lead replaced at the same time. I remember when I had my very first pacemaker pacemaker surgery 14 years ago (age of 19) my recovery was super quick. When I had my first replacement surgery 7 years ago I had the longest recovery and was in the worst pain due to all the scar tissue. So I'm just curious what I should expect for this surgery? Anyone else experience this too? Or have had 3 pacemaker surgeries? I have a 9 month old baby and I'm just trying to prepare myself for the recovery that lies ahead with a needy and very active baby:-)
Thanks for your time,
Trish
