Pacemaker moving around

hello, i had a pacemaker put in in January, this week, i had bleeding at the incision site, and the pacemaker has dropped around 3 inches, and is moving around during the day.
The doctor does not seem to be worried, but i sure am. Is this a common thing. SHOULD i insist on them checking again?
thank you/Mike

Did you hit the device or injure yourself?
Do you have bruising or do your have external bleeding?
Three inches is a lot for a device to migrate especially within a week. Plus you are 6 months post implant.

I would be asking another EP for their opinion.

If you have external bleeding I would consider going into ER.

Went back to dr. He said it is common for it to move, but not the bleeding. Antibiotics were started. I will follow up, it will have to be re attached, or reset under muscle to avoid it dislodging again. And yes, take baby aspirin daily. Thank you

Did you go to the ER?

Coming late into this thread. Did you go get it checked out? NOT COMMON. You must have torn the pocket where they inserted the device. Internal bleeding is always a risk, since like most of us, you are probably taking an anticoagulant.

I would have grabbed the doctor by the collar and given him a real close up look at the problem,
