I got a PM Biotronik, and I have episodes of feeling I can't catch my breath, my BP 105/73 and heart rate 120. I got PM on April 28th this year, I have bedside monitor and they have not call and said anything is wrong. Has anyone had this happen, should I be worried!

I don't recall a sensor switch, but will have to check out, going to call doctor if this keeps happening, when I got up this a.m. My heart rate is already up to 94. Thanks!

Rate response

Could be the rate response sensor acting up. Do you know, if your CLS sensor is switched on? I have a Biotronik with CLS, and I'm finding that it tends to cause inappropriate tachycardia even at rest sometimes. I don't think it's anything to worry about, but if it bothers you, you should inform your doctor. Maybe he can change settings to prevent these episodes. Good luck!
